Rucksack TL (for temperature and light) is a Scout-compatible shield that includes footprints for a DS18S20 digital one-wire temperature sensor and a TSL235R light-to-frequency sensor. A two position DIP switch is included so either sensor can be independently turned off to save power. The sensors are powered by Scout/Arduino digital pin 9. The light sensor’s output is supplied to Scout/Arduino digital pin 7 which is the inverting input to the ATmega328’s analog comparator which can be used for frequency measuring. The temperature sensor’s output is supplied to Scout/Arduino digital pin 8.
